Range Rover Velar Photo Thread

Here are photos of the Range Rover Velar that I've sourced from the interwebs. Feel free to add as you please of different colors, angles, etc.

I like how the Velar's front air intake vents have those small accent pieces in different colors. Range Rover really put in the finer details to make a winner.

It's those subtle touches that really make an impact, those small accent pieces in the front air intake area also match up with the little accents on the fender garnish.

One thing that I just realized though, with all of these touchscreens, you better have some glass cleaner handy in the car at all times haha

I was hoping we would have a dash similar to the Mercedes S-Class rather than two separate screens to control and view everything about the vehicle. Its easy to see how JLR can integrate this in their own unique way.

The S-Class does have an absolutely amazing dash. But I think this works very well for the Velar and it's a great innovation to what they were working with before. As much as it's different, it's not such of a drastic change as it would have been if they went with an S-Class styled dashboard

360 degree interior view of the Velar on the Canadian site, you just need to scroll down a bit to get to it. Must be awkward to sit in the middle with how it sinks in a bit.

To be honest.. considering I'm not sitting in the middle seat in the back, I'm not too worried. I typically don't have a full 5 people load when I drive either, the most I see is usually 4 (including myself) and the center seat armrest is typically down. Much prefer everyone to be comfortable and laid back.

I sometimes ferry five people with the shortest in the middle. Even without a fifth passenger, I'm not a fan of that headrest. Would probably just remove it most of the time and leave it in the trunk. Everything else looks sleek and clean without too many buttons or controls clogging up the center console.

To be completely honest here, does anyone really utilize headrests? My head never ever rests on the head-rest mainly because I have gelled hair and what not. The spouse doesn't either because she's constantly worried about messing up her hair, unless it's late and shes tired and not going anywhere haha.

it's a requirement for safety

anyone who has been rear ended can attest to this
just the fact that car makers still include them regardless of what typical of vehicle it is, tells you at lot.
