So I don't have a Velar ...yet....but have a Jaguar F Pace. I went through the after market headache and ended up buying a dealer Hitch. If you only want the hitch for a bike rack and not to tow, you will likely find a hitch. However , if you want to tow , there are no wire packages available. You would need to splice into your cars wires. To complicate it a little more, all the intuitive towing features won't work.

So, be aware that with the Jaguar, I not only bought the dealer hitch that has wiring integrated into the hitch and includes a retractable plug assembly , but then had to buy a control module for the lights to work. AND, the module needs to be calibrated at the dealer.

Once i I got it all together, the Jaguar hitch is well designed , sleek and doesn't affect the look of the car. All the trailer towing features work and I didn't have to worry about a spliced wire issue voiding warranty coverage.

Hope this gives some insight. I imagine the Jag and RR is similar.
