Thank you both (Finn & Audemar4play) for your replies and comments. I will certainly let you know what comes about with these issues. I was on the phone today with a JLR Customer Relationship Manager who is also looking into these issues/concerns. She will get back to me on Thursday with some answers. In the meantime she did say that there is a major app update recently released and that I should make an appointment for service and they would need it for a couple of hours to do the install.
She did not provide me with the details as to what this update would provide me. The dealership I purchased my car from was Land Rover in Hanover, MA. They were just great to deal with and real nice people albeit didn't spend much time going over all of the vehicles' functions/options. In fact they brought the Encore Specialist to actually put in a destination into the NAV considering I have no Voice Navigation available.
My biggest gripe is that the manual or Land Rover website and their "How-To" videos tell you one thing and show you something that is completely different than what I am seeing in my car.
