Ideas for mobile phone mount

About to pick up my Velar this weekend and was wondering if anyone has a practical and aesthetic way to mount their phone while also charging?

A lot of people like the ProClip systems. http://www.proclipusa.com. I had one in a previous vehicle, but haven't tried the one for the Velar.

You could look into cup holder phone mounts, as that will keep the phone closer to the ports. Aside from that you're stuck with the tradition vent clip/magnetic holders and a longer usb cable.

Here's a link to ProClip's mount.

I have loved ProClip in all my past vehicles but haven't decided to take the plunge yet with the Velar.

Too bad that voice command systems and Google Glass type technology hasn't picked up enough by now otherwise we could get away with wearable technology. Eventually that will be the case for most owners. I hope JLR will be one of the first adopters.

I use the Scosche vent mount. Easy location to see it. Thought about adhering the scosche to the dash, but I have the blue interior and it's too beautiful. ;-)

what a relief seeing no cradle because I used holders in the past that had them and over time they would lose the ability to grip properly and sometimes failed to hold the phone over bumps and potholes. keep us posted on how well it works with you
