Velar Vibration Issues ?

Recently got myself a RR Velar D240 SE R Dynamic.

Howver its got a vibration problem. Between about 50 & 57 mph you get a vibration , which feels like a badly balanced wheel. Got the car in the local service centre currently investigating the cause (and they've ruled out balance problems). Just wondering whether anyone else on this forum has expereienced simialr problems.

Know the runnng gear is similar to the Jag F Pace, when on investigation, it seems there are issue with the drivetrain.

Haven't heard of owners having this issue so far.

Where else have you reported on this issue?

I found out that another model has a vibration issue and it's the Range Rover Sport. Maybe AutoExpress can shine some light on it?
Not so good vibrations on the Range Rover Sport | Auto Express

They think it could be down to the wheels and tyres, and the front and rear propshaft. Perhaps these ares on the Velar should be checked?

If it doesn't have anything to do with balancing or alignment then you may want to consider wheel bearings. Do the tires have any play when the car is up on the lift? Do you hear any noise when the vibration is happening? Things like this shouldn't be happening in a new car and I hope the dealership is taking good care of you.

Too bad it seems that these days we almost have to take our cars to independent shop to get our own inspections done. Not the greatest way to proceed as a new car owner but at this rate its the only way we know we have a solid problem free product.

i had a similar issue once and it ended up being the tires. apparently the car was sitting in the lot for a while before being shipped out because there was a delay due to some recall after production so the car sitting there damaged the inside of the tires which caused the vibrations. outside it looked perfect but were deformed inside. had the dealer replace tires and issue was fixed.
