First world problems, but not funny at all!

So the Velar was in limp mode for some reason. Well that's a let down and I expected better from Land Rover when it comes to reliability. Let's wait and see if this is an isolated case or not.

After 18 days not acceptable, on top of that the service center is fully booked for a few day and no courtesy car...I would be so,pissed!

I wonder if that has anything to do with Tata owning JLR because often when big companies take over, little things like this that mean a lot for consumer experience get over looked and missed. Part of it might be that they know we won't go to any other car maker. JLR makes some solid products.

Best thing to do in these situations is keep a calm head, it stinks but JLR will fix it. Perhaps it's just that dealership with poor customer service.
I think in these cases a systems update is needed to get it out of limp mode, but we won't know until he uploads a follow up.

Basically.

You have to walk into new car ownership of vehicles like this expecting there to be issues. Essentially you are walking in with a knife to gun fight, there's little else we can do but wait, all the power is in their hands and we're at their mercy.

Don't buy the dealership fix? Maybe it was a code problem, which hopefully won't reoccur.
